Alkacel 2 MG Tablet is used to manage multiple myeloma, a type of cancer affecting plasma cells in the bone marrow. It belongs to a class of medicines known as alkylating agents, specifically nitrogen mustard derivatives.

In addition to its primary use, this medicine can also be prescribed for advanced ovarian cancer, particularly when other therapies have not been effective. It may also be used to manage advanced breast cancer in specific clinical situations where your doctor determines it would be beneficial.

The medicine should be taken orally as directed by your doctor, usually on an empty stomach. Before starting this medicine, inform your doctor about any existing medical conditions you have, especially kidney or liver problems, recent infections, or previous chemotherapy treatments.
